      No the Welbilt ABM600 is a 1 lb machine. I bought mine new nearly 20 years ago now and I still use it regularly. You can find many good recipes for bread machine bread. I have quite a few books on breads and I enjoy baking different breads!!

    Thanks for having a manual we can download. At one time I was baking bread almost everyday but stopped and now would enjoy baking bread again, with winter getting here so soon. I now have to locate the mixing blade for my machine as I left machine at a friends house and when getting it back I discovered the mixing blade is no longer there. Hope someone can locate a blade for me. My machine is and AMB600-1. Thanks for such a helpful site.

    I have a mamual but need the blade to a abm 500 or if you can tell me if another one will fit? Found this machine in older ladies house never even used but when I took out of box there is no blade. Ihave looked on ebay and they have several but no abm500.

    I have an ABM 600-1S. Will this manual work for my machine? I don't know what the 1S stands for. I'm having a really hard time finding this manual. Thanks!

    This is from a competitor's recipie book for a 1 pound machine

    1 1/2 Tsp Yeast
    2 cups flour (All purpose)
    1 TBL sugar
    1Tsp Salt

    I use about a quarter cup low-fat milk, and the rest of a cup of water (Exact measurements not improtant)

    And oil, about a tablespoon, or butter (Book calls for butter I use Canola (Rape seed) oil.

    In my other machine, you put the oil in first, then other liquids, In the Welbilt (And most other brands) the order I listed ingredents in is correct.. The manual says to raise the liquid to Luke Warm, I do not.

    I have the ABM600-1 but no bread making recipes,so I don't know if I can use any brand of flour,yeast,etc.or do I have to buy ingredients from WELBILT.
    I do have the owner's manual. Any help would be appreciated.
